Pandemic Influenza Toolkit for Ohio Schools (OH)

From:  Ohio Department of Health
Description

The Pandemic Influenza Toolkit for Ohio Schools was designed by the Ohio Department of Health to assist schools in their pandemic preparedness efforts. The toolkit is a compilation of materials that represent current knowledge on planning considerations schools must take prior to a pandemic event. Materials include posters, mental health concerns, helpful sample letters that provide education on pandemic influenza and information about school closures, and sample news releases. This practice is a good example of how one state compiled a thorough array of existing materials from other state and federal sources.

Component Parts
Materials submitted for this project consist of electronic documents and web links, and combinations of both. If a component part appears to have more than one link, this is why: CIDRAP saved the documents and reviewed both documents and links when the practices were submitted for review. The external links included here may be duplicative to some of the stored files, but they may also be updated or provide additional useful information.
